16 pledges from I’M WOMAN Trial clinicians in Tanzania
In October, the I’M WOMAN Trial team exchanged knowledge in Tanzania on the benefits of tranexamic acid (TXA) for severe bleeding in women after childbirth, to prevent maternal deaths.
Practising clinicians in obstetrics and gynaecology, including doctors, nurses and midwives involved in recruiting women to the I’M WOMAN Trial, pledged to advocate for the use of TXA to treat postpartum haemorrhage (PPH). Read more below:
